At a well attended Annual General Meeting of the Union held at the Anglesey Golf Club , Rhosneigr, Union officials for the coming season were elected.

Alwyn Pleming of the Baron Hill G C , having completed his two year term of office as President, retired from the post and is succeeded by Alan Eaton of the Holyhead G C.

The Union’s other officials were all re elected to serve a further twelve months – Howie Hughes (Anglesey G C) remains Captain with Bull Bay G C ‘s Ian Furlong and Gareth Jones remaining in posts as treasurer and secretary.

Randall Richards of the Henllys G C will continue as junior organiser.
 

The County Dinner will be held at the Anglesey G C Rhosneigr on Friday , February 10th. Details regarding the function should be on display at each of the member clubs.
 

The Rhosneigr club will also host the Union's Annual Dinner on Friday, February 10th - details available at member clubs.
 

Bull Bay G C regained the Rawlinson Shield, the inter club Seniors team competition, following the final round played at Henllys G C.

The home club took the honours on the day with a best six out of seven nett score total of 437, fifteen shots better than runners up Storws Wen G C.

David Allaway, a five handicapped member of the Anglesey G C, won the President's trophy when the 18 hole stableford competition was played at the Rhosneigr club.
