| Convincing Win for Juniors at Conwy |

The county juniors, captained by Holyhead G C's Scott Fenwick recorded
a convincing 8.5 to 3.5 win against their counterparts from
Caernarfonshire at Conwy Golf club. The island youngsters narrowly won
the morning foursomes by 2.5 to 1.5 only to capture the afternoon
singles by 6 matches to 2

Details of the forthcoming County Championship meeting have been circulated and should now be on display at member
clubs. The 36 hole scratch event when last played at Bull Bay in 2008 was won by Scott Parry with rounds of 75 and 74
totaling 149 - two shots ahead of his brother Mark who scored 151.
The County Handicap Championship for the H V Roberts will be played on the same date too.
Entries to both competitions close on Saturday, June 11th
